Looking out far and wide
Each wave crashing, every tide
The sounds of joy, laughter and fun
The sand is hot from the sun
The water glistens like a crystal
It was beautiful, what a shame
The crash of the first missile
People screaming with tears of pain
Lives were lost, there was no gain
I look back now and will never forget
The people that died, the ones I met
Now I’m here again, back at the start
Where I met my love
Where I lost my heart
I step into the water, I feel the cold
Water is life, or so I was told.
