We are on our way
All excited today,
To visit Canberra our nation,
Parliament being the attraction.
It's going to be an adventure,
Meeting the PM's a pleasure.

A capital city was built,
Canberra has no guilt.
Our prime minister will rule,
To make our nation cool.
Canberra is the best,
You will never rest.

The Parliament stands on a hill,
Plenty of experience to fill.
There will be an invitation
To invite the population.
You can have your say
On a special day.

The three levels in government,
Local, State, Federal.
Belong to everyone,
We can have so much fun.
The government will provide
Sets of rules, laws that will guide.

Lets join in the community
To have the opportunity.
Australia as a nation,
We can have some action
To set the great pace,
At our meeting place.
