A Day At The Beach

I am going to the beach
Oh, how exciting!
We find a spot and I sit back and relax
I wonder what is going on
Children playing in the sand
Mums trying to get a tan
Dads in their Speedos, swimming in the water
Lifeguards on duty, checking everywhere
Sea animals swimming from here to there
People collecting beautiful shells from all colours to all sizes
You might want to check inside for any surprises
So I make a decision and I go in the water
I leap in the air for how cold the water is
Then I lay back and drift away for someone to find me. Someday.
