Finalist in the 'World of Words 2009' competition

Each time you look it slips from your eyes,
Changes position and shape by random surprise,
You grasp it with aggression to hopefully solve,
The unknown mystery that is soon to evolve,
But no difference is this forceful attempt,
So once again in frustration you finally consent,
The aspect causes uncontrollable confusion,
For the two human eyes which result in illusion.
