I was not there, I did not see
It doesn’t mean I don’t care, it does matter to me
We mourn in pain with you; we are right there next to you
May your tears turn into happiness and may your anger turn into gladness
The shock of all our faces of what happened to all of these places
All the precious land burnt into ashes, together our hearts crashes
This event will stay in our minds
Forever and ever
As you looked around no one was there, there was only smoke everywhere
When you started to panic and were trying to save your loved ones
We stand here in grief, in disbelief
As this becomes history, let us recover from the tragedy
Remember that we stand with you through it all
We will pick you up when you fall
Even though we were in a disaster
We went through it together, always as Australia.
