I have always slept on mother earth,
She is me and I am her.
We are the rocks and the sky,
We lived in synchronization with the land.
We once came to be everything,
But then they came.
They took us captive,
They tortured us.
They took us from our families,
They made us work like jailbirds.
They hated us.
They took everything,
Our pride, our responsibility.
They took our land and spat on it.
They classified us as animals,
Animals that could be shot and eaten.
We were not meant for this,
We were meant for bigger things.
Two hundred years have past,
They finally realized what they had done.
They were apologetic for there actions.
We still live in our desecrated Bora ground,
But we are finally one.
