Last Night In Love

And as the moon lights up the sky
And fills the night with peaceful light
No need to worry about today
For the sun will rise another day.
At the strike of twelve when not a sound is heard
And the flapping of bats wings replace the birds
When all you can do is sit and pray
That the sun will rise another day.
I think of you and all you are
I think of your eyes that shine like stars
Arms that keep me close at bay
While the sun rises another day.
You run your fingers through my hair
We lie together, I feel you there
And with your love I know I may
See the sun rise just one more day.
