As she's walking home after school,
She thinks of what's to come.
Another night, full of fights,
But tonight she refuses to run.
She tells herself tonights the night,
It's time to make a stand.
Time to stop them, time to fight,
To make them understand.
How much they've really hurt her,
How their words cut her deep.
How hard it is to fake a smile,
When inside, she feels so weak.
Together we can stop her pain,
Catch her when she falls.
Show them what they're doing is wrong,
And help her through it all.
Although the briuses will fade,
And the cuts will dry and heal.
The memories will remain with her,
But together we can help her deal.
