Primary school is nearly over
Geez it’s been a massive turnover
From Prep to Six it’s been a mix
I can’t believe it’s been like this.

My first day of primary school was pretty sad
I didn’t want to leave my mum and dad
Although Miss J had comforted me
I’d rather be at home asleep.

My year in Grade 1 at school
Is the year I thought was cool
Miss G was cool and fine
She loved us and cared for us and gave lots of free time.

The following year I was in Grade 2
I met some friends I never knew
Being in class with Miss J
Meant extra time to go and play.


The year after that was very breezy
We hardly did any work, it was totally easy
That year I thought was kind of rad
Cos I learnt how to subtract and how to add.

My fifth year at school
Was a bit of a drool
I didn’t like Miss M one bit
One day at school she yelled and yelled, which really got me in the pits.

In grade 5 I had Miss C
She made me smile with glee
For our concert song we did UFO
This turned out to be a big no-no.

My last year at school had finally come
I realized that high school had almost come
From Prep to Six
It’s been a mix
I can’t believe it’s been like this!!
