Never Agian

If you were to leave surely I would die, perish from a broken heart
If you were to stay I would give you my life till death do us part
I am but your humble slave, you are the lone wolf howling to the moon
Together we are the fairytale, we are like the dish running away with the spoon

Is it possible for the cat to catch the mouse? or will we just be a dog chasing its tail
If I try to move on, if the world will let me be, I know I would still fail
I m not strong enough to live with out you, every night I cry
Wishing apon every sparkling star in the sky

If I thought that the sun would set on this never ending day how wrong I was
Every question I have your answer will always be ‘just because’
If only you knew what it felt like, I keep wandering if only if only
If you were by my side would I still be lonely

I miss the sparkle of your eyes I miss the beat of your heart I miss you tinkling laugh
Would I believe every lie you tell, would you believe me if I said you were my other half?

I know you don’t need me, but I desperately need you
The rain mixes with the tear flowing down my face, I know you think I m soft
There’s nothing more to say nothing more that I can do

Please, I beg I plead but you just stare and laugh if I only believed that you loved me
If only I could keep the pain away from my heart, why can’t you see
I love you more than each breath, my heart beats for you and you alone
Love took us for a ride but I need your trust I can’t be on my own

That grin on your face the world spins out of control all I wanted was you devotion
I would give you everything every ounce of love every emotion
Finally you see the tears shed for you I’m on my knees and you bend down
Your lips touch mine soft at first, than building, nothing else matters as we sit on the ground

You sing that song, you say those words, you gave me flowers and we feed the birds

Cinderella goes to the ball to find the prince she dreamed of,
You truly are a gift from above
I wake up alarm ringing and birds singing love still strong but the kiss gone

All the tears I cried, the pieces of my heart that will never be mended
All for nothing the world I knew, the dreams I had ended
Never again will I be a victim of love, never again
