Carnarvon spread over 16000 hectares.
Aboriginal paintings tell of life in the dreamtime.
Roos and wallabies hide behind bushes.
Never ending forests dominate the gorge.
Animals like platypus and turtles are to be found.
Red and white snakes slither in rock pools.
Various plants like cabbage tree palms and gum trees grow.
Over rugged ranges is where you will find it.
Narrow gorges are carved out of sandstone.
Grassy open forests grow on the cliff tops.
One kilometre I ran, thirteen I walked.
Rock hopping along the way.
Green tree frogs croak all night.
Each day is better than the last.
