It's as pale as the moon,
and it glistens in the light.
It makes heavy of a dune,
and is the wife of the night.
It's wet as fresh tears,
and is the streams tender daughter.
It quenches you fears,
and is the blue element; Water.
It's as lively as a child,
and is as thriving as love.
It blossoms like ivy wild,
and is as soft as a dove.
It brings life to all things,
and had the sun present at it's birth.
It bestowed the eagle wings,
and is the green element; Earth.
It's as light as a feather,
and is the pioneer for a storm.
It is a sibling to weather,
and chills all who are warm.
It can make music of a chime,
and carry on it's back; a prayer.
It turns a breath into a rhyme,
and is the white element; Air.
It's as bright as the sun,
and is the Father of light.
It burns just for fun,
and on a phoenix takes flight.
From the ashes it is drawn,
and to the sunset it will retire.
It is the welcomer of dawn,
and is the red element; Fire.
