There she stood in a dark gloomy room,
The air was filled with nothing but silence.
For her pain could not be spoken,
She was stalked by his violence.
Her attire was stained by the blood of her tears,
Urged on by the memories of her past,
The haunting of her deepest fears.
The depression and terror struck her face,
Like lightning hitting the ocean.
She had various concerns and worries,
But just one emotion.
Only the Mighty King knew what she was worth,
Far more than diamonds, pearls, rubies and sapphires.
She knew His glory was the only way,
To pursue and reach her hearts desires.
