Help; the suffocation burns,
I can’t forget the hurt you’ve shown.
Those dreams I once had,
Went with you, and too, left me alone.
That morning kiss upon my lips is something I can’t feel,
Nor do I get a shudder when my neck, your lips reveal.
The simple smell of roses daily,
Oh how I miss them so.
Especially the way you held me,
And the love we shared would grow.
Now all I have are memories,
Those I do not wish to keep.
Unfortunately that’s not up to me,
For they haunt me in my sleep.
