Save The Rat

Put down your book
and take a look,
over there
by the chair.
Near by is a mat,
upon of which is a cat.
A bit farther away is a rat,
which the cat is looking greedily at.
Quick, run! And save the rat,
from being eaten by the cat.
You don't want to let the cat go munch, munch, munch,
on the rat for its lunch, lunch, lunch.
If you do then you'll find
that a rat has a grose inside.
Stop your fun
and run, run, run!
Yay! You saved the rat
from being eaten by the cat.
