It seems like only yesterday you were here by my side,
Laughing, crying and making me feel alive.
I look through my window and see the brightest star,
I know in my heart, that’s you in the far.
The shot went through you,
Your spirit flew to the moon,
Feels like my heart went along with you too.
You time has come,
And what has been done is done.
But take my word when I say,
I’ll never love someone like that again.
