You and Me
When you go home,
What do you do?
Sit down, relax,
Watch a show or two?
When I go home,
I walk for miles,
When I look around,
I don’t see any smiles.
You go to the fridge,
Coz’ you want a cold drink,
What a shame,
Your favourite cups in the sink.
When I get a drink,
It isn’t fresh or cold,
It’s barely even clean,
It’s all dirty and old.
You’re waiting for dinner,
To be cooked for you,
You won’t eat that,
Coz’ its pumpkin stew.
When it comes to dinner,
I eat whatever I find,
A slice of bread,
Is on the menu tonight.
You have to go to school,
How annoying,
And all that home work,
Is just plain boring.
I haven’t got a school,
I cant learn,
I go to work,
And yet I don’t earn.
You have last month’s clothes,
What a disaster,
You need to buy,
More clothes and faster.
I have 1 top,
That is ragged and torn,
I’ve had it 6 years,
And now it’s all worn.
You’re grounded this week,
It’s so unfair,
You hate your life,
You just don’t care.
Your life is tough?
You don’t have a clue,
I would give anything,
Just to be you.
