I just don’t understand.
Everything I say and do is wrong.
My only escape is my car, runs likes a dream she does.
Helps me to be alone you see.
Well apart from when Peter comes along,
His mouth never stops moving, I’m not quite sure how to shut him up.
But on the other side is Lucy.
Strange child, never says a word, not even a peep.
When she does say something though, everybody looks at her in shock.
She runs, nobody knows where, she just goes.
Actually, she reminds me of my wife, they both have those ocean blue eyes.
They think I don’t know these things.
My mother in law always gave me hell.
What did I do? Apparently it was what I didn’t do.
To put it simply, my family are so scared of me that they completely avoid me.
I have sometimes thought I would just get up and leave.
