Jayde's Journey

Hi my name is Jayde I was an orphan in the Philippines until my Australian mother adopted me. I was ten when I was taken from my birth mother. My mother was American and my father was Pilipino. So I guess I’m now a proud Australian thanks to my new family.

I’m on a quest to find my twin sister. When we were in the orphanage we were best friends. But she got adopted by a mother and father. They wanted to take us both but only had the money for one. They adopted my sister, Ebony

I try and track my sister down.
I’m now eighteen and want to find my twin badly.
I go to the adoption agency and try to look where she might be
“Hi I’m looking for my twin sister, she was adopted from here about seven years ago” I say hopefully
“We will look through the records and see” the man says behind the desk
“What was her name” he asks me
“Ebony” I say really hoping he finds her
“Ebony Williams?” he asks me
“I’m not sure…” I say wondering
“Well there is an Ebony Williams that was adopted here seven years ago and she is now eighteen does this person sound like the person you are looking for?”
“YES” I say
“Where is she?”
“South Canada in a place called Racing hill” he tells me
“Thanks” I say and start walking out of the door to find my sister

I buy my plane ticket and off I go to Racing Hill.
I ask everyone if they have heard of her. They all say no
I come to an old lady she says “yes”
“Where?” I ask
“Texas” she says
“Thanks!”
I go to the airport and buy a ticket to Texas.
I look and look and ask and ask but no one has heard of her.
I come to an old man he says
“Yes in Churchville, United States”
I go to the airport and ask for one ticket to Churchville.
“There is no place called that in united states” they say
“That’s okay” I say walking out

“I give up” I say to myself
“I’m going home”
I buy a ticket to Queensland, Australia and go on the plane one last time.
When I get there I feel sad that I didn’t find her.
I get out of the taxi I was in and slam the door.
“Hi” says a voice behind me
“HI!” I scream
I run up and hug my sister Ebony it turns out she was looking for me!
Also it turns out we were identical twins
“It’s just like looking In the mirror” Ebony says
I laugh “yeah it is” I say still hugging her.

The end.
