Reconciled

It is in my life,
Of many strange occurrences,
That I find harmony, within my grasp
By my side,
Rocking slowly
And stumbling awkwardly
Through truths and shams
Reaching high
And bending low
It is beneath the adorned that we wait
And above the lost, we pace
Through it all, calm can settle
Stroll into your life
Dismantle your pre-sights
Refurbish your heart
And decorate your soul
It is with fair faith
And never less than worthy,
That guidance can be placed,
Resilience arrayed
Humanity portrayed
I cannot encompass the capacity to restrain liberty
Nor delve into prejudice -
For fear of unpopularity
I handle time in childish light
Winding down the clock;
As its chimes are broken
And its methods folly
Time is not of the essence
It is simply an illusion
Recognized by man
Constraining our essence
I cannot acquire peace without freedom
Or balance, without
Balance
I have held the concept for so long
But only just realised its potential
So I release the pain
Free the hate
Stand besides my fellow countryman
Seize my faith,
Bring fourth the harmonious
And simply gaze at the calm
For it has been;
Reconciled.
