An ash covered land,
A black skinned people,
An abused, dying land,
An abused, dying people
Opression; Prejuidice; Anger; Hate
A failure to appreciate,
Love; Caring; Kindness; Faith
The Aboriginals beautiful, religious state
Racism burning the land away,
Burning anything good that might come of this day,
It's been burning ever since
The First Fleet landed in Botany Bay
Children stolen, life taken away
Land siezed, women raped, prices paid
Blood spilt; a bloody bay
Racism is killing is, even after Apology day.
