As I stepped off the terrifyingly large, yellow people moving contraption, I could feel people’s judgemental eyes focusing on me. I had no idea why, they were different to me, that was for sure. But I want to make some friends here; different is supposed to be good, isn’t it? They we all looking at my school uniform, it hung on my slim frame like curtains from a window. People whispered and talked all around me making me feel anxious. This was not how my first day of school was supposed to be, not at all. I took a few unsure steps toward the aged building. Just the sight of it was enough to make my stomach do summersaults in anticipation. I was so thrilled that I, Tatiana Nahima, was going to a massive school with over 200 hundred people! As I started to move my feet more swiftly and surely, a group of boys started whistling. I turned instantaneously and saw they were looking at me. One of them, with chocolate brown eyes and sandy blonde hair, winked at me. Startled, I blushed, a bright scarlet colour, turned on my heel and kept walking towards the ancient building. My feet made soft stepping noises as I excitedly walked towards the mature wooden door with a bounce to my step. This was going to be a good day.
