I know this may sound weird
But it is you who I have always feared
It is you who’s always appeared
And it is for you that I’ve always shredded tears
I know this may sound weird
But it is for you whom I have adhered
It was for you when I stood up and cheered
And it was you who never disappeared
I know this may sound weird
But it is only on you, that I like a beared
It was you who helped and volunteered
And it was that land that I wanted, that you went and cleared
I know this may sound weird
But it was you who re-appeared
It is with you that I shall grow up with for years
For it was only you who understood my prayers
I know this may sound weird
But it was you who was against guns and spears
It was you who listened, and never drank beers
And it was you who lied and said you liked the painted wall that I had smeared
I know this may sound weird
But it was you who taught me, when I rid the bike that was geared
It was you who pioneered
And it was only you who encouraged me and persevered
