Happy Lappy

Once there was a dog
sitting on a log
with no owner at all
no stick and no ball
24 hours a day
there he lay
until a girl came along
humming a song
and noticed the dog on the log
the dog looked so cute
so she put him in her ute
when she took the dog home
he was never alone
he was always so happy
so she called him Lappy.
