Everyday I’m awake,
But not thinking straight,
Planning the next step, next lie,
Never really wondering why?
I’ve always showed respect and courtesy,
Always loved by friends and family,
No one knew this girl,
Would have anything to do with the ‘underworld’,
I’ve played all ‘their’ games with dignity,
That why I was named Liberty,
Never expected to be stabbed on a lonely street,
Gasping for air, that’s how I breathed,
Because of the fame I’ve gained, I died,
Because of the fun I wanted, I lied,
To my family and friends,
Knowing that I’ve caused a misery with no end.
