I got my teddy in a box with my brother’s ox
Now teddy is grotty as the trash outside
he’s scent is so filthy that dead dog’s cry
because I dropped him in the dunny while sucking on my dummy
My mum thinks he’s stubby and grubby like a snail
she wants to throw him in the trash
“He is my buddy!’’ I reply with a squeal “He is real!’’
my teddy is my best friend till the very end
He’s barbaric, he’s dynamic and he smells like the loo “Get rid of him quick before I do!” my mum says with a croak in her throat.
Bang Clang Boom
I stand and stare my teddy is ruined Dismantle the dog chewed him up
I put my teddy in a box with the old man’s ox
now that I’m twelve I let go of my early days forever (not forever just a bit)!
whether your young or old you never have to forget your special friend!
