it's as if you caught me.
like nailing jelly to a tree.
i doubt it was easy for you.
it certainly wasn't easy for me.
i was alone, afraid, lost in my own mind.
you reached a hand down into the wispy dark depth of me,
and pulled out a soul. a human.
a human i thought lost in my own depths long, long ago.
it doesn't seem to matter whether or not i let go of my own simple stupidity.
you seem to understand how the world works in my twisted mind.
how did life turn to shine on me?
you saved the unsaveable,
forgave the unforgivable,
and above all,
loved the unlovable.
you are sun, and i moon, yet it is no matter.
for there is something unexplainable,
our own perfect galaxy perhaps,
that holds us together,
in balance
and time
and space
lucky for me,
nothing in this universe could tear us apart.
