Glad Am I

Glad that I live am I.
That the sky is blue,
And for the fall of dew.

Glad am I for the purple mountain majesties,
And for the plants and trees.

Glad am I for the bees in the field,
And for the crops that to farmers yield.

And glad am I for the Lord my God,
To whom all this glory does belong.
