Recess

Recess is the time all the kids wait for,
We all start quickly and rush out the door.
Sliding down the staircase and pushing down the slow ones,
If they trip its their fault, they get left behind.
Recess is the time when we can all catch up,
On the chat we missed out on before school started up.
Recess is when time flies by and freezes.
Children run out from the toilet block
and the line has just started.
And everyone laughs because someone farted.
