Just for Kicks

I'm a step away from murder in this dark and dreadful place,
"But don’t worry dear"; "I will kill you with a smile on my face"
I suffocated her with the pillow that she had slept on for years
Harder and harder I pushed, so no one heard her tears.
I thought I had her licked, when I heard a knock and a voice,
She screamed for help, I guess ultimately, that was her only choice.
I grabbed my knife, the knocks became louder, I stabbed her through her chest.
Yes I took her life in my hands and sentenced her to death.
I’ll let you in on why I killed her! it wasn’t something that she could fix,
I killed her for NO reason, just to get some kicks.
