Quietly the cat sneaks in with a mouse,
Quietly the burglar creeps into the house.
Quietly a pin drops onto the floor,
Quietly the wind pushes open the door.
Quietly the house maid hums a little tune,
Quietly the sun goes and out comes the moon.
Quietly the mother sings a lullaby,
Quietly the upset girl tries not to cry.
