Once upon a time
there was a girl
she lived far from home
and dreamed in her sleep
about the wonderful memories
she once held dearly in her heart
memories of songs, wishes, best friends,
good times and bad,
she longed for the beaches, waves,
summers she missed,
she needed to go back to
that far away place.
She wanted to stop dreaming
to be with her loved ones
and share memories
laugh, cry, and be happy
to live life once again
and experience those times
she longed for instead of dreaming again
