Why do I complain about trivial things,
when there are people suffering?
Why do I want for everything,
when there are people needing?
Why do I fight with my parents,
when there are people without?
Why do I ask for so much more,
when there are people with nothing?
Why do I never feel satisfied,
when I have what’s important?
Why am I not grateful,
when I have been given a chance?
I am able to make a difference,
no matter how small it may be.
I am able to raise awareness,
no matter how difficult it may be.
I am able to help others in need,
no matter how busy I am
I am able to make the world a better place,
just by being me.
