That Special Someone

‘That special someone’ is no lucid description;
One that can vary from true sincerity
to a synonym for somebody you ‘like’,
Which is a description as just as cryptic.

That special someone should be
the one who can be relied on,
the one who passes you the tissues
or offers a shoulder.

No matter the context in which it is used,
‘That special someone’ should always mean
somebody who will always be there.
