Beach
I’m on the beach thinking things over.
Waves are rolling in.
The water is tickling my feet.
The sea is calming me.
The day is melting behind the horizon.
Clouds are floating gently by.
I drift slowly off to sleep.
Birds awake me squawking loudly.
They are finding places to rest.
The sand is golden in the moonlight.
It is time to go.
I pack my things and get up slowly admiring the beautiful blue sea.
I think to myself, this is my favourite place.
