Actions speak louder than words
But words cut deeper than knives
One word can take a cats nine lives
Some words can make a person heal
Then there are the words in the air we sometimes want to steal

Some will be our last
Then some will ring in our ears
But they can be things of the past
They shouldn't give us fear
Then there are the words that won't come out
The ones worth talking about

The truth can be more painful than a lie
It can be worse than hearing or even saying goodbye
It can make a person go silent
Or even make them go violent
But that is why we chose our words carefully
