A Piece Onigirishima Chapter 3 : Fading Away

All people on the island froze as a tall, sweeping figure - Fade, one of the Three Elders - made his way further up on the island. No one could move, suppressed by the figure's overwhelming power. Marco, who was flying on the sky, did not seem to be frozen from the figure's powers. "What is this? An announcement of Fade, the Elder, entering Onigirishima?! Why is everyone frozen? Why am I not frozen?" he questioned as he watched the scene from below. "Well, well, well," boomed Fade, his majestic stance blocking out the light from the sun. Fade walked to the frozen Arc and laughed before produced a gleaming orb of pitch darkness snapped his fingers. Everyone reverted back to their normal, moving states and they yelled in fear and panic, running as far as they could from Fade. However, Law, Cypher and Oxford ran towards Fade to save Arc with Marco flying behind. Arc gritted his teeth as Fade loomed upon him. "I am... Fade! One of the Three Elders of this world!" cried out Fade. Arc gripped his sword and roared, "Divine Departure!" Fade simply blocked the blow and roared, "Dimensional Rift!" Fade held his arms out horizontally and gripped the air where dark tendrils appeared before he bought his arms back together and the tendrils collided, creating a huge wall of darkness. Arc slashed at the wall but nothing happened. "Huh?!" gasped Arc. Fade smirked before he held out his hand and a floating, dark blue orb levitated upon his palm before he roared, "Dimensional Crash!" The blue orb reshaped itself into a purple shadow with a single eye that shot a laser at Arc. The laser struck Arc and he yelled in pain as the laser began to suck him of his power and energy. But he couldn't move. The laser held him in place, immobilising him until his very death. "Fa ha ha! Lord Sova will be very pleased! Another powerful Testament Blood holder down! Fa ha ha!" Fade laughed as Arc continued to roar in pain. Arc neither knew nor cared what Fade meant by 'Lord Sova' and 'Testament Blood holder' - he just needed to slash that shadow to bits so he could be free again. But he couldn't move and more of his energy was disappearing... And then, Law, Cypher, Oxford and Marco appeared. Law shouted, "ROOM! Countershock!" as Cypher roared "Rising Bolt!" with Oxford calling "Execution Slash!" as well as Marco bellowing "Phoenix Flare!" The combined attacks chained and struck Fade, knocking him down with the laser shadow dissipating. "Huff... you think you can best one of the Elders? Such rudeness! Take this! Three Thousand Alternate Worlds : The Microcosm World!" roared Fade. A dark laser shot out of Fade's palm. It blasted Oxford and shrank him down so much he was a mere ant in size. Marco created a barrier out of his phoenix flames and stopped Fade from shrinking the Law and Cypher. "Someone pick up Oxford and keep him safe! We're going onto the offensive!" cried Marco. Cypher picked up the ant-sized Oxford while Law teleported Marco behind Fade. "PHOENIX BRAND!" Marco yelled. Marco put his strong phoenix legs together and they burned with blue-hot fire, golden sparks falling out of the fire. Marco then kicked Fade in the face and knocked him down, where he lay, bleeding golden blood. "Argh! You - you dare offend one of the Elders!?" cursed Fade as he bled. He jumped up and tried to kick Marco but Law stopped him with one of his new Awakened techniques. "Gamma Knife!" Law cried and a blade of radioactive energy appeared at his hand. Law gripped his radioactive blade and he leapt at Fade before stabbing the blade deep into Fade's body, Fade to roar in pain with blood exploding out of his body. "My technique, Gamma Knife, has the ability to rupture organs from the inside! There is no defense from within your body!" cried Law. And he was right. Fade lay on the ground, clutching his body as more and more blood spurted out. But Fade smiled as he summoned another dark blue orb. Fade put the orb into his wound and it instantly healed. "You were right about your technique rupturing organs - but you weren't right about me having no defense from within my body! Fa ha ha ha ha!" laughed Fade as he got up, completely healed. Fade created another indestructible wall before summoning another dark blue orb that he threw onto Law, Cypher, (the miniature) Oxford and Marco. They were instantly bound by a dark blue residue that wrapped around their bodies. Fade laughed. "I am the indestructible Elder! Fa ha ha!" he cried. Then, finally, Arc got up. "You may be an Elder... but you obviously aren't INDESTRUCTIBLE!" Arc cried as he lifted his sword. Instantaneously, his sword gleamed golden and emitted an extremely bright golden radiance, rising to the skies and turning it gold. He then imbued his blade with Aura, Flow Aura and Conqueror's Aura before holding it high. "Divine Departure!" His blade crackled gold as it swung down, shattering the wall and slicing a huge gash onto Fade. Fade roared in pain. "Huff... my wall... it has never, ever been destroyed before..." panted Fade in awe and fear. "My sword is called 'Ace'. It will slice through any wall!" declared Arc, holding his blade proudly. Fade gritted his teeth, "I know it's called that!" he hissed. Arc halted, confused. How would Fade know about the name of his sword - the one given to him by King Egghead? Fade eyed the blade cautiously before saying, "I'll be on my way. I don't want to see your hideous faces again!" But Arc held him to a sword point. "Not before you set Oxford back!" Arc demanded. Fade scowled before crying, "Revert!" and Oxford was back to normal. Fade then shot Arc a look of pure hatred before disappearing into thin air. Then, the samurai came running up. "Huff... what was that power, Arc? We could see that golden radiance from far away! And your Aura - you can use all three types?!" exclaimed Akazaya in awe. "Sorry we didn't help you - we though Fade was too powerful and we didn't want to face him. Still, all's well's that end's well, right?" explained Gunem'all. "It's fine... we'd better set off to Hakai now," replied Arc and the others nodded.
Soon, the Silver Knight Alliance boarded their ship and they sailed away towards Hakai, to face off against one of the Four Emperors of the Sea : Sabre. But what they didn't know was that someone had stowed away on their ship...
In a small dinghy, sailing towards Hakai...
Misery, one of the Four Emperors, looked out towards the horizon on his ship. "I'll be there soon... Sabre, Marvel! You'll regret what you did to me and my crew! Ma ha ha ha ha!" he cackled.
