This is a story about a young woman who is about to get married. She is describing her trousseau when she has a flashback to when she is thirteen. She has gone to a shoe shop and sees a pair of red stilettos. She falls physically and mentally in love with them. They cost way too much and she leaves downcast. 13 years later, she walks back into the shop, looking for her wedding shoes. She runs into the lady who she'd asked for the price of the shoes so long ago. The lady had kept them and gives them to her for free. Later on a the reception night she dances in them and is flying high above the clouds............
