For what rationale do I surrender, to the ocean, my fate?
And discard, in the nor'easter, my life?
Perchance, amidst the waves lays a superseding authority;
a relentless force, mercilessly cumulating pain,
then inconspicuously hauling it to the horizon
But then is it reasonable to chance the capricious? Murmurs…
Can you envisage a tomorrow?
… You scarcely survived yesterday
Only the deep knows not to mask the truth with cosmetics
And so the heart insists to thrust me into its cusps,
adamant upon the torturous purging of facades
So for what rationale do I surrender, to the ocean, my fate?
And discard, in the nor'easter, my life?
I will succumb under its languid embrace; swallow me whole!
But remember, secrets are not to be divulged,
I bid you a farewell my friend, devoid of that consent…
