Peaceful Dream
The scene played out as if a dream,
Five horses gathered by a stream,
Surrounded by the morning mist,
I'm sure by now you get the gist,
The sunrise golden, warm and light,
Made the valley oh so bright,
And as I watched the horses drink,
I suddenly began to think,
How in the stories old and new,
It wasn't mist but always dew,
The scene was changing as if by heart,
The horses heard me, they were smart,
The mist seeped into morning dew,
Revealing a foal with its mother too,
As I got up and walked away,
Preparing for another day,
Peace had filled my heart and my head,
Just as my given name had said.
