Adrenaline, pumping
Coursing through veins
Limbs stretching, reaching.
Hear the earth pound and shudder under my feet as I leap
As my limbs stretch and reach
I run faster, faster, I push harder.
Almost, almost there...
Jump high over a log
Duck low and brush
Release is imminent.
One final bound and my teeth sink deep
Clutching onto life
My prey struggles
But the blood is dripping
Pouring too fast, I wrench.
I hear the tearing of flesh
Sweet music to my ears
Hallelujah, its dead.
