Never Trusting

My death wouldn't matter to you,
No one really cares,
All they do is lie to me,
But you were never there.
So where were you then?
When I needed you most.
You said you cared about me,
That was a fat, stupid lie,
Why would you do that?
Did you even try?
You didn't know me,
Like I knew myself,
You didn't know me,
Like everyone else.
