YOU ARE MY LIGHT

You are my light you shine so bright. You’re in the stars right next to mars, beaming and dreaming just of your smile it helps me walk more than a mile.
You are my light you shine so bright. You are my best friend until the end, Bubbly and sweet more than a treat, it’s the art of craft, your smile, your laugh.
You are my light you shine so bright. The heart you own is made of gold, Pure more newer, the brightest yellow glitter. Your Shimmer, your glow like shiny white snow.
You are my light you shine so bright. We grew up we fought, hit and made up. All those times you pushed me on the swing you showed me that even I could grow wings.
You are my light you shine so bright. I remember the times you made me smile, laughing and giggling while we ripped up peoples mail then we’d get scared of being sent straight to jail.
You are my light you shine so bright. You taught me how to ride my bike, you even jumped on the back and took me down big hills, you made me smile when I would cry, you made me come out I was so shy.
You are my light you shine so bright. You know all my secrets you hold them tight. Maybe one day I’ll sing the song we wrote, I promise I won’t stop till I have a saw throat.
You are my light you shine so bright. Do you remember my very first date? You came along, you were my best mate, you stared him down you made me frown, you set him straight told him to treat me great.
You are my light you shine so bright. I’ll never forget that night Dad left, you slammed the door he left us pore. Mum cried on her knees, I pleaded daddy don’t leave, then you screamed at him loud you made me and mum proud.
You are my light you shine so bright. Beautiful so right, it was my formal night, you did my hair my make up so fair, You made me so pretty, it left the other girls in pity. I think that they were just jealous that you were right there for me, when I was blind you helped me see.
You are my light you shine so bright. We walked on the beach and got sand in our feet, it was your favourite place you liked the wind on your face, we walked and we ate we’d stay there till it was late.
You are my light you shine so bright. I don’t know why God let you leave. I sit for hours and wonder, I make believe. Life is not fair, I cannot bare to think any more it makes my heart saw.
You are my light you shine so bright. The call that night sent me into a fright, they said it was a blast that car came at you so fast, there was nothing I could do they said you left so soon. Sometimes I sit up and cry at night , the sisterly bond we had was strong and now that your gone life seems so wrong. I know you’ll be there right up in the sky watching me as time goes by. I know that one day we will be together again, you’re my special sister, much more than a friend.
You are my light you shine so bright. You’re my angel in heaven the sweet number seven, I can’t help but fuss I miss you so much, I hope that one day I can be just like you and teach some one else how to tie their shoes. I wrote this for you to explain my love is so true, I’ll never have another sister like you.
You are my light you shine so bright. I wish I could explain but it is so rare nothing could compare to the love we once shared. I Promise to be strong, I will try to move on because I know till the day when we meet once again you’ll be there for me shining your light as bright as can be, creating a path that’s just right for me.
