I knew that this day would come
I didn’t dream so soon
I always thought that you would be fine
like you convinced me to
You were like a superman
You never seemed to hurt
You were always so damn strong
Which is why this goodbye hurts
I never thought that you’d be gone
But here I am alone
I miss you more than you could know
But I must let you go.
I know that you were suffering,
It’s not fair for me to ask
For you to stay and be my dad
As long as it could last
I’m scared, and I’m lonely too,
It’s hurts so much to think
That I will never again see your face
Or even hear you speak.
