God gave us life
to see whats ahead
God gave us life
to say whats been said

God gave us life
to pay the price
God gave us life
to make the sacrifice

God gave us life
to watch what we do
God gave us life
to say "I love you."

All it takes is the simplest thing
to cure the tiniest little sting.
So with each tick and each tock of life's little bomb.
Don't forget to thank God, before he hits the gong.
