OH, LOVE
Love is something we cannot explain with words. It is so amazingly beautiful and pleasurable that we yearn for it and envy those who already have it.
In our world, when things are no longer innocent and the line between inhuman and human has blurred, love keeps us humane. Never mind if we are guilty of sinning, love is so innocent that it binds people who aren’t all good. It changes them, makes them feel worthy, and makes them want to protect someone.
I feel it is the oldest form of magic. It has existed since the time of Adam and Eve and is still just as amazing. We can’t explain where it comes from or how it works, which makes it all the more elusive and special to humanity even possibly beyond that.
I pray we hold on to this ancient magic until the end of time. We should hold it close and cherish it, for we never know when it will be taken away.
