Memories
A picture can be a thousand words
But a memory can be so much worse
For it is with you in your head forever
To think about and not get better
A lie you say to yourself everyday
Just so things will go your way
You keep thinking that this memory will fade
But it still hasn’t gone away
You are going to suffer whether you like it or not
But the pain isn't something you can stop
You feel it when you are awake
But it is something that you can take
You also feel it when you’re asleep
But the memories are way too deep
Now that you have to remember forever
