Virtuoso
She stood on stage,
Nothing could phase,
Took a deep breath,
And started to play
It was slow at first,
Adagio one would call,
And played sweetly which rang throughout the hall.
She closed her eyes,
And listened to what the people could hear,
Where she knew she had captured there ear.
The girl became softer as the ending neared,
And gently lifted her bow into mid air
Gracefully she bowed,
And looked out to the crowd with a grin,
And thought ‘my virtuosic dream is about to begin’.
