He stares into the bottom of his glass
He lifts it and empties its contents down his throat
He places the glass down on the container
Recognising the familiar sting of alcohol
He fills the glass up again
Swirling the liquid around with his straw
He stares into again
He picks up the glass
And throws it
It hits a wall, the glass shatters
The contents streaking down the wall
He walks over to the wall
And puts his finger to it
He licks his finger clean
And smiles.
