Just A Thought

I halt the pouring rain
To wash the clouds away
Their mist lingers
But they have left with day
The night sky is bathed with moonlit beauty
The glowing crescent radiating all it's splendor
The kiss of the eerie blue light on my every crevice
Lights curves both toned and slender
As I stand in the moonlit mist contemplating
I cannot help but to riddle
What could it be about
That seperates me
But after much philosophy I realize
Something I could only see with my mind
And not with my eyes
It is because I can think these thoughts
Because I can look deep into the blurry night in my crystal lake
And I can see with no eyes
Hear with no ears
And to my surprise I realize
She doesn't love the blurry rippling surface of the lake
Or the beautiful silken depths that it stretches
Nor the solid rock it lies upon
She loves the mind that doesn't see the lake...
